10 Best Raid Enclosure

I bought the D4-300 to move my music storage from my NAS to directly attached to my NUC which runs Roon (see […]).

Install was physically easy with 4 x 6TB drives that I had. I selected JBOD and reformatted using the basic instructions. Initialised using standard Windows disk manager actions. Job done.

Transfer rates seemed pretty good at about 100MB/s using the cable provided (USB-C to USB3.0). That is quicker than my NAS and I saw 15TB done in about 1.5 days (didn’t keep a close eye for exact time and speeds)

As other reviews note the unit doesn’t power down but that is OK for me as the music system is always on here.

So, a week or so into using it I have no issues to report. Recommend.

Downloaded the raid configuring software from the companies website which was simple to follow if you want to set these up as a raid system. To be honest I just use this in JBOD mode which works well. The product feels sturdy and well built and looks pretty good too.

We were out of cities with familiar to the equal that have bought a cake and has added some trucks, Oreos, and candy. It was like this easy and my edges have loved that! A better part is that some toys are functional – I plants him in our cube of rice to the equal that have been able to use them to touch too much.
